Darb Bridal Couture at Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival 2011

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival in Brisbane has wrapped for 2011, and without a doubt the highlight and show-stopper was Darb Bridal Couture. Designer Brad Webb out did himself by creating 14 drop-dead-gorgeous gowns for the show. Along with his signature ball gowns, there were some stunning column gowns and two party-perfect short reception dresses, that personally i would kill for !!! Super-Stunning! Although i think i might have some competition for them in the crowd... at the show the crowd excitedly clapped with approval as each and every gown appeared on the runway... a complete goose-bump moment. Brad, once again you proved that you are the King of Bridal Couture in Australia... your gowns are flawless. Swooonnnnnnnn !!

Kim Kardashian Wedding Photos

I was so delighted to walk into the supermarket today and see Kim Kardashian's wedding picture staring back at me on the cover of Who Magazine. Finally, the official wedding photos are here.

The August 20 nuptials of Kim, 30, and Kris, 26, were nothing short of over-the-top. From the enormous crystal-studded cross at the altar, to the 1.8m tall cake... this was one extravagant wedding.

Walking down the aisle in the first of her three Vera Wang gowns, Kim was dazzling (i guess the $15 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewellry helped a little too). With sisters Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie alongside her (all in ivory Vera Wang silk organza mermaid-style gowns), Kim married her beau of 12 months.

After the ceremony the 400 guests entered a 9 metre high tent, raised over a pool, for the old Hollywood themed black and white extravaganza. Kim changed into her second Vera Wang gown ready for her first dance to a live performance of "Angels" by Robin Thicke. Guests feasted on truffle pasta and other delights by Hollywood chef Wolfgang Puck. When it was time to cut their multi-tiered chocolate and vanilla swirl cake, Kim was in her third Vera Wang gown. The newlyweds and guests danced the night away to the sounds of Earth, Wind & Fire and DJ Cassidy. Kris and Kim will honeymoon in Europe and be home in time to relive their big day in a two-part E! tv special on October 11 and 12.
