Royal Wedding

    Okay, i am still on a Royal wedding high... and think i will be all weekend. Personally i thought the wedding was amazzzzinggg !! I think William and Harry looked super-gorgeous, Kate looked stunning, the Queen's hat looked like something i could make for an Easter bonnet parade, the trees in The Abbey were sensational and i think Pippa stole the show !!

    There are a lot of people making wedding comparisons today, so i thought i would put it in images for you. The comparison of the gown to Grace Kelly's, the flower girls to Princess Diana's... and then there is Pippa Middleton who can not be compared to anyone, she was a stand-out !!! Pippa's dress is definitely one we will see a plethora of brides replicating.

    "The Magic of Love"
    by Helen Steiner Rice

    "Love is like magic, and it always will be,
    For love still remains life's sweet mystery.
    Love works in ways that are wondrous and strange,
    And there's nothing in life that love can not change!
    Love can transform the most common place
    into beauty and splendor and sweetness and grace.
    Love is unselfish, understanding and kind,
    For it sees with its heart, and not with its mind.
    Love is the answer that everyone seeks;
    Love is the language that every heart speaks.
    Love can't be bought, it is priceless and free.
    Love, like pure magic, is life's sweet mystery!"

A Dose of Darb

    It's only days now until the Royal Wedding of William and Kate, so i thought i'd share another gown with you from the King of Brisbane bridal, Darb Bridal Couture.

    When i saw this exquisite gown sitting pretty in the window with it's ribbon and lace, I started thinking about Holly Golightly in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. Whenever she had the 'mean reds' (not the blues, but the reds), she would get in a taxi and go to Tiffany's. "It calms me down right away," she says. "The quietness and the proud look of it. Nothing very bad could ever happen to you there." And this is exactly how i feel when i window shop at Darb. When i saw the perfection and divine detailing in this gown today, i was filled with glee. The sheer beauty, femininity and chicness of this gown made me glow. Amaaazzzzziiinnngggggg !!!
