Like many, i find it interesting that just one week after Nick Lachey announced his engagement to long-term girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo (with a stunning 4.5 carat Asscher cut platinum diamond ring), Jessica Simpson announces her engagement to former-NFL player Eric Johnson. After just six months together, Eric proposed to Jessica with a Neil Lane ruby and diamond ring, definitely a different style to the stunning 3.5 carat diamond ring that Nick Lachey gave her when they got engaged. I hope they both enjoy wonderful 'happily ever afters.'

It's Over! Eva Longoria files for Divorce

I'm in absolute shock today to read that after only 3 years of marriage, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are calling it quits and filing for divorce.


On the luckiest day of the year, 07-07-07, Eva and Tony exchanged vows in Paris before 200 guests. An extravagant reception followed at Chateau de Vauz le Vicomte.


It was certainly a celebrity wedding as everything you could imagine was thought of, from the Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets that each female guest received, to the amazing fireworks display that concluded the celebrations. Celebrity planner Mindy Weiss created a truly romantic red-themed wedding. Eva was a picture of wedded happiness in her Angel Sanchez contemporary silk mermaid-silhouette gown with a five-foot long train featuring delicate metallic embroidery. But regardless of all the expensive details, it just goes to show that it's not about 'the day', it's about a life time together !! Another sad hollywood story.
